Workshops and Tuition

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1986 with a BA (Hons) in Drawing and Painting and since then I have been a practising artist, exhibiting in the UK and abroad for over 35 years. I teach watercolour at venues in the central belt of Scotland, including Off the Rails Arthouse in Ladybank, Fife, The Edinburgh Drawing School in central Edinburgh and the Hub@531 in west Edinburgh.

I teach floral watercolour classes on Wednesday mornings and afternoons at The Edinburgh Drawing School . Please contact them directly for more information and to reserve your place. Booking is now open for the new term starting on 17 January 2024.

In the Spring of 2024 I shall be teaching Thursday classes at the Hub@531. I will teach a Watercolour class starting on 7 March and a Drawing class starting on 14 March, thereafter on alternate Thursdays, 10:15-12:45, for 8 weeks: please contact me for more information about any/all of these. Numbers will be limited to 8 per class to ensure that students get individual attention and a block of 8 classes costs £240. The Hub@531 is conveniently located on the number 44 and 45 bus routes. In the planning is a 3-day watercolour retreat in the Kirkudbright area in southern Scotland in early summer 2024. Please contact the Edinburgh Drawing School to register your interest.
